The reason is because the new site is adding many new users to your website. It’s like a new company that’s trying to add new employees to your site. Why wait to see how their old members have been doing it for years? The way they’ve been doing it is because of the new staff, and so they have started to add more visitors and more staff. It’s a problem that’s been plaguing us for years and is continuing to plague our site.
It seems to me that it would be nice if you, the person who is responsible for updating your site, had made a point to have a good understanding of the content that is already on your site. I know it’s not much of a commitment, but it might help you out. I think a good example is the site I am running, which is a blog, but also posts news of my business, and I try to post a mix of news and content.
