The other day I was in my last session with a friend of mine, when we were talking about brain tumors, and we both agreed that it was likely that I would not have a brain tumor, because I would be so healthy. The doctors have it beat because as long as I didn’t have it, no one would get a brain tumor. If I had cancer, I would be dead.

It’s not just the doctors who have you on a break. It’s the folks who are trying to help you. They are the ones who see the best in you and want to try to help. They are the ones who are trying to make sure you can do the things you want to do and still be yourself. For the most part, we are our own worst enemies.
